The Reset Method | Watch This First
A behavioral scientist, and the wife who left

I divorced my husband. Two years later, I married him again.

Same man. What changed was that I finally understood the pattern we were both trapped in. In this video I'll show you the one you're in, and why nothing you're doing is working. Because I was on your side of it.

If you're still reading

You've done everything right. It keeps getting worse.

You're not lazy and you're not checked out. You're the opposite. And that might be the problem.

i.

You've read the books. Sat through the therapy. Walked out with better words for the problem and the same problem.

ii.

You try harder, explain more, ask what's wrong. And every time, she seems to pull a little further away.

iii.

You lie awake running it like a problem you should be able to solve, because solving things is what you do.

iv.

The intimacy is gone, and you can't remember the last time she reached for you first.

v.

You've thought about leaving. You won't. You'll carry it quietly, the way you carry everything.

vi.

And there's no one you can say any of this to. You're the one who's supposed to have it handled.

If you recognized yourself in more than two of those, the video above is for you.

The reason nothing has worked

It isn't your effort. It's a documented pattern.

What's happening in your marriage has been studied for thirty years. Researchers call it demand-withdraw, and it predicts divorce more reliably than almost anything else they measure. They can see it in the body. Your stress response spikes during these moments, before you've decided to react.

She goes quiet. You move toward her to fix it. She feels pressure, so she pulls back. You read that as "I'm not trying hard enough," so you try harder. Which is more pressure. Which is more distance.

Round and round. And here is the part no one has told you:

Your effort is the fuel. That's why effort hasn't worked.

Who you'll be talking to

I divorced my husband. Two years later, I married him again.

Same man. Nothing about him changed. What changed was that I finally understood what I'd been doing. Because before any of that, I was the one chasing.

I over-called. I over-gave. I needed constant reassurance I'd never healed the need for. And the harder I chased, the more I pushed him away. I ran the exact loop you're running now. I just ran it from the other chair.

So when I tell you what your wife is feeling while you're trying so hard, I'm not guessing. I lived on the other side of it.

Then I went and got my Master's in Behavioral Science to understand what had actually happened to us. What I found became The Reset Method, and it's what I now take men through, personally, over 90 days.

What we do together

The Reset Method

Ninety days. Not therapy, not "communicate more." A behavioral sequence I run with you, live, until the pattern is broken.

01

Regulate

You learn to catch your own reaction before it becomes the behavior that feeds the loop. This is the input you're removing. Everything else depends on it.

02

Communicate

How to be heard without setting off her defenses. Why building your case guarantees she stops listening, and what to do instead.

03

Become

We rebuild the grounded man underneath the anxious one. Not performed confidence. The real thing, and why it's what reopens the door.

04

Consistency

We make the change hold when she tests it, and she will. This is the step that makes it permanent, and it's why it's 90 days, not a weekend.

A loop needs two inputs. You control one. And one is enough, which is why this works even if she never comes to the table.

Men who were where you are

They tried everything too.

One thing worth saying out loud

Getting help here isn't the thing that means you failed.

A lot of men hesitate right here. Somewhere in them is the belief that a man should be able to fix his own marriage alone, and that paying for help means he couldn't.

You don't do your own legal work. You hire the person who's spent their life on it.
You didn't build your career alone. You brought in the people who knew what you didn't.
When something matters, you get it right. You get the expert, and you don't apologize for it.

This is the most important thing in your life. Why is it the one place you've decided you have to figure it out alone?

Getting help here is what men like you do when something actually matters. That's all this is.

This is not therapy. And it's not "communicate more."

What you've tried
  • Understand the problem more deeply
  • Talk about your feelings
  • Try harder, give more, explain better
  • Awareness, with no plan attached
  • Both of you have to do the work
The Reset Method
  • Change one specific behavior
  • Install a nervous-system skill
  • Stop feeding the loop entirely
  • A behavioral sequence, run with me
  • You break it. One input is enough.
What the other road costs

The real risk isn't divorce.

Men like you don't usually blow up their marriages. There's no dramatic ending. You endure it. You carry it quietly, telling yourself it's a season, that it'll come back on its own, the way you've been telling yourself for a while now.

That's the real risk. Not losing her. Ten more years of this.

It's the one option that's guaranteed to change nothing.

Longer conversations

Sit in on a few real interviews.

Not clips. Full conversations with men who did this work, about what actually changed.

Common questions

What men ask before reaching out

How is this different from therapy?

Therapy gives you awareness. The Reset Method gives you a plan. We work on specific behavioral changes, not processing feelings indefinitely. Most men feel a real shift within the first few weeks.

What if my wife isn't willing to participate?

Most of the men I work with come to me alone. When you change your patterns, the dynamic changes, whether she's in the room or not. You can only control your side. That's exactly where we start, and it's enough.

How much time does this take?

One 60-minute live call per week, plus daily tools that take 5 to 10 minutes. It's built for men who are already running at full capacity, not men with time to spare.

I've already tried coaching or online courses. Why is this different?

Most coaching stays at the surface: communication tips, mindset content, generic advice. The Reset Method works at the behavioral level, specific to your patterns and your marriage. That's the difference, and it's why it works when the other things didn't.

Isn't it too late? Things have been bad for a long time.

The pattern doesn't care how long it's been running. I've worked with men who were separated, who hadn't been touched in years, who were sure it was over. The length of time isn't what decides it. Whether you change your side of the loop is.

How do I know if I'm a good fit?

That's exactly what the call is for. We'll talk through where you are, what's happening, and whether this is the right fit. If it's not, I'll tell you. No pressure either way.

If that video landed, here's the next step.

Leave your name and best number, and Sarah's team will reach out to understand your situation and see if this is a fit.

On the call, she'll show you the exact pattern you're running and tell you, plainly, whether she can help. If she can't, she'll say so.
